Synopsis for "The Enemy of My Enemy"

The Time Trapper tells Superwoman that she has an opportunity to avert a dark fate if she kills him one last time, and when that does not convince her offers to show her all the secrets of the future. She refuses and punches him across the face. The Time Trapper tries to threaten her but Lois says that she has realised the Time Trapper needs them, as despite all his power he is trying to make deals with them instead of just taking what he wants. The Time Trapper restarts time and Superwoman flies as fast as she can to block Radiant's blast. She takes the brunt of it but Jimmy and Silver Banshee are still hit.

Radiant blasts Superman away and attacks the present-day Doomsday. As he watches Radiant fight his past self, the Time Trapper considers getting Radiant to give him his final death. Superman attacks Time Trapper in a Red Kryptonite-induced frenzy and the Time Trapper goads Superman to attack him more. Meanwhile the Super-Family try to contain the Aftermath and protect civilians, but are close to being overwhelmed. Lex Luthor rides in on a Supercorp plane piloted by Mercy and says he has a plan, but they need to get the Aftermath into the sky and away from civilians. Lois pulls the raging Superman out of the fight and Mercy lures the Aftermath higher up, with Raidant and Doomsday chasing after them. Once they are safely above the city, Luthor blasts the Aftermath and Doomsday with a gun based on Brainiac's technology, shrinking them all down and trapping them in a bottle. Luthor shows the bottle to Superman and Superwoman and tells them he is confident it can hold them, but they are sceptical. Mercy reveals that time has slowed within the bottle, so if Doomsday dies inside it he may adapt in unpredictable ways; and both Lois and Clark realise that may be the first step in Doomsday evolving into the Time Trapper.

Before they can discuss it any further, however, Lena flies in and tells them that Jimmy was badly hurt and is in a coma at Metropolis General. Clark goes to the hospital in civilian attire and visits Jimmy's bedside along with Siobhan and the Whites, but Lois blames herself for Jimmy being hurt and is unable to bring herself to go in. She stays outside in her Superwoman costume, and when Superman comes to comfort her after visiting Jimmy, she starts to tell him that she has made an important decision, but before she can say what it is Silver Banshee flies in and hits them with a sonic scream. She blames Superwoman for Jimmy being harmed and tells her that she is now her archenemy. Silver Banshee flies off and Clark tells Lois that Silver Banshee is just speaking from a place of hurt, but Lois is worried this may be the start of the dark future the Time Trapper spoke about.

Meanwhile in deep space on board the UPCC Dereliction, an alien doctor scans General Zod and confirms that his powers are completely gone. The doctor promises to keep Zod's secret, but Zod murders them to ensure no-one will know.

The Time Trapper returns to the End of Time. He calls for the Superman of his future to end his life, saying he will come crawling to the Time Trapper for help when Darkseid returns. Suddenly he is attacked by the Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl of Darkseid's Legion.
