Synopsis for "The Chained Part Three"

In the past; Lex Luthor, Carl Draper and Sebastian Stryker watch a young Sammy Stryker try out his tactile telekinesis. Sammy realises that he can project his tactile telekinetic field through the air molecules to affect anything he can see without needing to touch it, essentially giving himself full telekinesis. Draper and his father are excited by this development, but Luthor is visibly concerned by Sammy's power. In the present, Dr. Pharm and Mr. Graft show Sammy all of Luthor's crimes since he was locked up in his cell.

Superman and Superboy fly to Stryker's to confront the recently awoken Luthor about the Chained, and are stunned to see Lena. Luthor tells Superman who the Chained is and that the only way to stop him is to return him to his cell. Superman refuses, when suddenly the Chained smashes in through the wall. He ties up Superman and Superboy and levitates Lena into the air. Sammy kills some guards who run in to stop him and tells Luthor that he will kill Lena in front of him to punish him for the things he has done.

Suddenly, Superman and Superboy fly away at full speed, dragging Sammy along with them by the chains. Lena drops to the ground and Lex catches her, but she shoves him away and tells him to get away from her. Meanwhile Superman and Superboy suddenly stop and let Stryker's momentum sent him hurtling away, breaking the chains between them and him. They fight Stryker and, through his signal watch, Lex tells Superman that he built a weakness into Sammy's telekinesis when he first gave him his powers: Kryptonite can penetrate his force fields.

Superman flies to Supercorp and dons an anti-Kryptonite suit and Kryptonite gauntlets. The Chained attacks Stryker's Island again and chokes Luthor with one of his chains, but Superman swoops in to save him. Superman fights the Chained and, although the Kryptonite gauntlets allow him to hit Stryker, Stryker in turn manages to breach his protective suit and so he starts to succumb to the Kryptonite radiation. The Chained has the weakened Superman at his mercy, but this is revealed to be a distraction as Superboy swoops in and puts an opaque helmet on his head that prevents him from seeing to use his powers. Supercorp scientists fire restraints at Stryker that completely envlop and neutralise him, but Superman has severe Kryptonite poisoning and is on the brink of death.
