Swab Decker was an impetuous young military man who served in the U.S. Navy, during World War II. He frequently teamed up with his shipmate Bob Masters, U.S. Marines, as "Bob and Swab."

History

Throughout most of the Second World War, Bob and Swab were billeted aboard the USS Scarab, which made port calls at a wide variety of locations. These two despised each other, and bickered constantly, often resorting to fisticuffs, yet one was seldom seen without the other nearby.
