Synopsis for "Blood Wind"
Anton Arcane's henchman, the so-called "Crown Prince" creates a pheromone vapor that causes anyone exposed to it to become the target of uncontrollable rage. Deemed a failure, Arcane has the Crown Prince dispose of it in the swamp. Tressa Kipp comes upon the scene and is exposed to the vapor. Within a short period of time, everyone she meets is filled with great desire to kill her. The Swamp Thing wants to help, but dares not risk getting to close or else he might be overwhelmed by the toxin's effects as well. Finding the Crown Prince, he forces him to create an antidote. They charge Jim with the task of administering the antidote in the hopes that his love for his mother will override the effect of the pheromones. The plan works and Tressa is cured.
