The Saga of the Swamp Thing is a gothic horror comic book series published by DC Comics, later being moved to their Vertigo imprint. Starring the titular creature, it is best known for Alan Moore's critically acclaimed run from 1984 to 1987, which revised the character's origins and leaned more into existentialism in its stories.

The title ran from 1982 to 1996, totaling 178 issues including annuals. The first 13 issues feature backup stories starring the Phantom Stranger. The comic was also the primary influence for the 2019 Swamp Thing TV series.
