Synopsis for "Daisy Chain"

Abby Holland and Officer Rawls are terrified when a giant anthropomorphic flower created by Tefé Holland grabs Representative Ben Barron from the ground, and then eats him before their eyes. Desperately, they run back to Rawls boat, and Abby begs him to take her with him back to Houma.

The flower's name is Thunder Petal. He has always known that leadership was the highest he could aspire to, but since the hand of god changed him, he has discovered just how much more there was in the world, and how much more power.

Meanwhile, Swamp Thing sees Thunder Petal on the horizon and realizes that his battle with his doppelganger had a much more significant effect on The Green than he realized.

At Sunderland Corp Headquarters, Constance Sunderland and Doctor Lawrence Polygon prepare for the ritual that will help resurrect General Sunderland from death. Through a combination of supernatural and technological means, Polygon has determined that they have a 15 second window of opportunity. Polygon has Constance recite a spell while she catches the blood from a human sacrifice as he slits the man's throat. They pour the blood onto the cryochest in which the General's body is housed. After the ritual is complete, the door blasts off of the chest, and the General sits up, providing Anton Arcane the chance to enter his body.

Swamp Thing chases down Thunder Petal, and grows to a great height in order to match the daisy's size. He tries to plead with it to stop its trail of destruction. He finds that he cannot control the creature, and returns to Lady Jane, who responds that it is a creation of Tefé's, and is therefore also connected to The Red. Only she can unmake it.

When they turn to ask her for help, they find that Tefé has already made her way to the towering flower, who picks her up in his massive palm. She sternly states "Bad flower!" and he shrinks down to normal size. She chases him, and then crushes him in her fist, killing him. With the ordeal over, Swamp Thing hopes to explain himself to Abby.

In Houma, Chester Williams is moving out of Abby's old house there to go to New Orleans and finish his degree. As he is getting ready to leave, he is surprised to see Abby, who asks him if he will take her with him to New Orleans.
