Synopsis for "Animal Armies, Part One"

Jepperd drives a car with Becky and Lucy. They arrive in Rockbridge and are suddenly surrounded by cultists. He asks to speak with their leader as he has something they want. They protest that no one escapes the militia. Lucy shows them her scars from when the Militia performed surgeries on her.[1] They take them to their leader, Glebhelm.

At The Preserve, Gus continues to have bad dreams. When he wakes up, he tells Wendy not to worry about them. He promises her they will escape. Johnny arrives and brings Buddy back to the kennels with him. He tells them how he was one of the first hybrids born in the facility. When two more security guards enter and see Johnny talking to them, they rough him up and tell him to stop fraternizing with the prisoners. To get the idea through to him, they start hitting Gus.

Abbot and Dr. Singh arrive at the Nebraska State Wilderness Sanctuary. Singh is in awe of the location and believes everything is just as he had expected.
