Quote1.png I think of Louise. I think of my baby...the baby I'll never know. The baby I'll never hold. Then I think of the kid...Gus. If there's a chance that he's still alive in there, then it's a chance worth dying for. These men have taken so much from me...I ain't gonna lose him too. Quote2.png

Synopsis for "Animal Armies, Part Fourth"

Gus and the hybrids attempt to hide in the back of a truck. However, their pursuers find them and return them to The Preserve.

Glebhelm tells Jepperd the story of how his wife gave birth to five children after the sickness hit. His wife died on the last one and he allowed his kids to eat her as they were short on foot. Jepperd is repulsed by the story as they prepare to attack the Militia Camp.

Inside, Abbot tells Doctor Signh to hide in the basement with the hybrids while he defends the base.

During the raid, Jepperd grabs Becky and Lucy and heads for the elevators to where they keep the hybrids. Upon entering the underground hallways, he's confronted by Abbot. After a brief scuffle, Abbot tells him his son is still alive.
