Synopsis for "Out of the Deep Woods (Conclusion)"
Gus and Jepperd ride towards a valley that leads to the "Preserve". A group of men try and stop them. During the ride, Gus is thrown from the horse and is knocked out.
He has a vision of speaking with his father. His Dad warns him he needs to follow the rules. He claims he died and that Gus caused the accident and his death.
Gus wakes up and sees Jepperd cleaning himself off. He hurries him along and carries Gus through the valley. The arrive at the Preserve. The facility if surrounded by high fences, armed guards, and watch towers. Gus tells Jepperd he doesn't feel comfortable going in any more. Jepperd pushes forward and asks for Abbot at the gate. He's given a large duffel bag as payment and then Gus is hauled off to be thrown into the kennels.
