Synopsis for "In Captivity, Part Two"
Jepperd buries his wife and remembers how beautiful she was. Jepperd recalls the early days of the plague. The survivors would get together in groups only to increase the spread of the plague. They learned it was better to just be alone. One night while they were traveling alone, she confided in him that she was pregnant.
At the The Preserve, Abbot returns to grab Gus. They sedate him and take him to Dr. Singh.
Jepperd heads to Factory Town, an old military base that had been converted to a trading town. He exchanges his rifle and horse for entry but keeps his bag. Inside, he exchanges his handgun and ammo for a bottle of beer. He drinks to forget his wife, Louise.
