T. James Harrington II (Quality Universe)

T. James Harrington was a crimefighter known as The Hawk.

A former All-American tackle, and with both parents deceased, Harrington inherited their fortune. He quickly became known as the "Park Avenue Playboy," which family friend Police Deputy Pat Doyle disapproved. However, unknown to the deputy, Harrington was secretly the crimefighter known as the Hawk. While the deputy had sworn to capture and bring the Hawk to justice, he admitted he respected the vigilante.

While fighting crime, he donned a mask and used claws to stop criminals in their tracks. The only two people who knew that Harrington was the Hawk were two men named Link and Rollo who assisted him in turning over criminals.[1]

  • Claws: Before a fight, Harrington slips claws onto the tips of his fingers.


  • This version of the Hawk, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022–2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
