Tagumo was a monster created by Ishiro Honda in 1951, and brought to life by him using Brigid's diary. The monster tried to destroy Tokyo, but was eventually killed by Garima.

Notes

• Tagumo is a reference to Godzilla, another monster also created by Ishirō Honda in the 1950s. Eiji Tsuburaya, the co-creator of Godzilla originally proposed for a giant octopus before the filmmakers decided on a dinosaur-inspired creature.
