Tal-Rho was Bizarro's half-brother in the Inverse World.

Tal-Rho was very close with his brother Kal-El. When Kal learned that his wife Lois was pregnant, he took Tal-Rho to a bar in Smallville, Kansas and told him the news, also revealing that they were planning to relocate to the town. Tal was overjoyed to learn that he was becoming an uncle and impulsively declared that he would pay for everyone's drinks for the night. That night he also met the bartender Lana Lang, who he fell in love with and married.

Years later, Kal-El's life fell apart when his son Jon-El joined Ally Allston's cult and Kal-El became obsessed with stopping her. He started using Kryptonite to enhance his powers, causing Lois to leave him and take their other child Jordan-El. Jon arranged a meeting between Ally and Tal and Lana, and Tal believed that some of what Ally said made sense. He reached out to Kal-El in an attempt to mediate between him and Jonathan, but Kal refused to listen, claiming that to even meet with Ally was a betrayal. He demanded that Tal-Rho cut off contact with Ally, but he couldn't as Lana had become a devoted follower. Kal told Tal-Rho that he had to chose between him or Lana and ordered him to leave. Kal-El eventually attacked Ally, stole her pendant and fled to another world. He also hurt Lana when she tried to protect Ally.

Months later, a man named Mitch Anderson from the other world crossed over, bringing Ally's pendant and it's counterpart from his world, which Ally would need to fuse the worlds together. He was shortly followed by Ally's inverse self and Kal-El's. Anderson managed to escape to Kal-El's home in Smallville but the Allys tracked him there and went after the pendants, bringing Tal and Lana with them.

The other Kal-El was also there, so Tal and Lana fought him for the pendants. They retrieved the pendants and the Allys began to fuse together, to Tal-Rho's horror. Tal-Rho realised that Ally was evil, and seeing a version of his brother similar to how he was before his breakdown made him understand what he had lost when he turned his back on Kal. He let the other Kal-El go and told him to save his world.

Tal-Rho was imprisoned at the Department of Defense for his betrayal. The merged Ally killed him by draining his life energy.

Superman eventually managed to stop Ally and prevent the merging of the worlds. Tal-Rho's counterpart from the other world crossed over and assumed his identity.
