Synopsis for "The Death of Superman"

Tempus Fuginaut is still looking for hope in the Dark Multiverse that could help him in the upcoming crisis. He knows the light, but dislikes the fact that the dark always returns, no matter what you do. It always poisons even the greatest of worlds and turns them into tragedy.

He falls on a multiverse that takes place right after the Death of Superman by the hands of Doomsday. While holding Clark, Lois wants revenge. Revenge on the world that let Superman die. The Justice League comes, but Lois doesn't care, because they came too late.

A funeral service is held for Superman. Everyone attends to pay respect, but a few weeks later, everyone moves on. Everyone but Lois, who believes the world didn't care enough. She goes to the Fortress of Solitude to pay respects. There, she meets The Eradicator. He says he tried to save Clark, but was too late. He needs a vessel to contain himself. Lois volunteers and they fuse.

Lois, now a newly-turned Kryptonian, uses her powers to do more than Superman. After doing so much, she wonders why Clark neglected the world so much and begins to go down a different path. She confronts Lex Luthor. He admits his part in nuclear deals and shows no remorse. She grabs him and they fly to the Sun. She reveals Superman's secret identity, then kills him.

After this, she goes on the hunt for all known killers. After killing The Joker, she is attacked by Batman, who says she is going too far. After verbal and physical attacks, Lois kills him. The next day, Lois goes after Hank Henshaw, the Cyborg Superman, for using Superman's name. While fighting, Superboy and Steel join the fight. They both die to the Cyborg.

After fighting for so long, Lois hears the voice of the returned Superman saving people from debris. While the two talk, Hank uses a blaster filled with Green Kryptonite gas. Lois destroys the container with the gas, but in turn, it kills Clark again. As she sits there with Clark's body, she apologizes that the world wasn't good enough and promises to make one deserving of a Superman, the same promise she made from the beginning.

Tempus Fuginaut reflects on Lois and how she has become the Eradicator, the Dark Avenging Angel of the Multiverse who fights for the truth yet knows she is lost beyond salvation.

Examining the world, Tempus thinks of that while he does not know why there is dark but perhaps it is a lesson: they should look upon those who fall prey with it not with scorn but pity for they could easily be next.

As he heads off, having deemed that world a lost cause, Tempus believes that they should cherish the light while they have it.
