Synopsis for "The Monster Mayor--USA"
Former resident Joel Belmont arrives in the town of Belmontville. Town leaders approach him and urge Belmont to run for mayor. They think he has an excellent chance of winning especially since his father was the one who originally founded the town. The town fathers want Belmont to run against Elroy Barnes who they claim has changed and is no longer a good candidate to run for mayor. Belmont informs the leaders that he will soon have an answer for them and spends the night contemplating his decision. A green mist suddenly appears and Belmont begins his journey through a Green Glob adventure. He steps outside the next day and witnesses a parade as people cheer a group of monsters riding in a car. A group of people rebel and denounce the monster mayor and his corrupt administration. The dissenters are apprehended including Belmont and thrown in jail. Belmont can’t believe his eyes as he sees his town being run by monsters. Belmont breaks out of his prison and witnesses various atrocities being committed by the mayor’s administration on the town. They charge for drinks of water, they demolish the town hall and they charge fees to enter and leave the supermarket. Belmont eventually breaks into the home of the monster mayor and is shocked to find that his identity is none other than Elroy Barnes whose appearance has somehow changed into that of a monster. Barnes mentions that he had the former mayor impeached and took his place in a grab for power. He proceeded to run the town in a corrupt manner with no one to stop him. Belmont blurts out that he will fight the monsters with his last breath and runs out of the mayors house. He is chased by a group of monsters but he successfully makes his escape. Things suddenly return back to normal and Belmont finds himself back in the peaceful small town. He is asked by the town leaders if he has made a decision about running for mayor and Belmont replies that he will run. He is also left wondering how this fantastic adventure was possible as the green glob rises into the air.

Automan the robot is assigned to guard a beautiful blonde actress named Kimmie Lee. Lee was involved in a baggage mix up at the airport and brought home the wrong bag which belonged to a spy ring. The authorities now fear for Kimmie Lee’s safety and they have instructed Automan to keep her safe. The actress has no idea that she is in danger and thinks that Automan is the co-star in her next movie. The odd pair visits the site where she will be filming “The Mermaid and the Monster”. They climb into a huge diving bell that accidentally falls into the water. The actress somehow escapes leaving Automan to fend for himself. He reaches the beach where he finds Kimmie Lee standing by the shore waiting for the robot to emerge. Lee then takes Automan to another set that simulates an underwater scene. A monstrous hand then reaches out to grab Lee but Automan pushes her out of the way. The hand is a prop in the upcoming movie but an electrified net falls on top of Automan as he tries to escape from the hand’s grip. The robot is about to lose power when it suddenly gets the idea to cover himself with rubber that surrounds the walls. Automan is now suspicious that Lee might be leading him into another trap and that she might be working in conjunction with the spy ring. The actress then leads Automan into an underground Labyrinth where he suspects that Lee is attempting to get him lost. Automan separates himself from the Actress and finds his way outside the labyrinth cave. He quickly heads back to the studio where he determines that the spies have been there searching for her bag. He quickly heads back to the cave to meet Lee but is surprised that she is already outside waiting for him. Automan loads the actress into a car and she drives herself back to her beach studio. When she arrives there is a group of spies waiting for her. She brags that she has led the mechanical man astray when Automan suddenly appears. The ring of spies has the real Kimmie Lee all tied up and Automan had been dealing with an imposter all along. He apprehends the spy ring and has them waiting for the authorities when they arrive.
