Red Lanterns Vol 1 0 Textless
Red Lanterns Vol 1 10 Textless

anybody else think we could use a better image for atros? how about the Red Lanterns Vol 1 0 textless cover or the Red Lanterns Vol 1 10 textless cover?DalekSupreme13 (talk) 06:38, March 22, 2014 (UTC)

I just now noticed this discussion you brought up. Usually, we like to avoid #0 issues at all costs, right? Honestly, I didn't see anything wrong with the first image, so that's probably why I hadn't noticed the talk page. --- Haroldrocks talk 08:52, July 7, 2014 (UTC)
why can't we use issue 0 covers? if you don't like the issue zero cover I did also propose using the cover of issue 10 if the issue 0 cover wasn't suitable. In regards to the original profile image, it really isn't the most suitable image for the atros profile image as his whole life isn't defined by the red lantern corps. it's the same reason we don't use the green lantern corps profile image for hal Jordan or kyle rayner. yes they are in the picture, but their whole life isn't defined by the corps. the issue 0 cover and issue 10 cover better portray atros' unique personality and his viscious tendencies (more so in the issue 10 cover then in the issue 0 cover).DalekSupreme13 (talk) 05:21, July 8, 2014 (UTC)
Whatever. I'm pretty sure you're overthinking this, but #0 issues are usually discouraged regardless. You never really hear the rule anymore because it's been long enough from their initial release that no body attempts to use them anymore. We did use #0 images when they first came out, but that was like a last resort for an image. If anything, I'd go with the second image you posted. At least we both can agree it displays him well. --- Haroldrocks talk 07:28, July 8, 2014 (UTC)
