First name?

Writer Alan Brennert says the Earth-Two Mrs. Gordon was never given a first name. Where did we get Barbara from? Shadzane (talk) 20:43, July 26, 2014 (UTC)

Her second and last appearance, in Superman Family #211. Published a couple of months after Detective Comics #500, though it's unclear if that issue influenced the choice of name. As for his claim, I still haven't seen the name "Kean" being used anywhere for Barbara Eileen Gordon in New Earth. Only Earth-Five. On Earth-One, his wife was mentioned only as deceased, and not named (as Thelma Gordon) until Batgirl's Who's Who entry. --Tupka²¹⁷ 21:03, July 26, 2014 (UTC)
