Name of character[]
I haven't read the comic but I've never seen this name in any media article or preview either. Has anyone even called him Composite Swamp Thing in the comic? Otherwise I suggest he be called Swamp Thing II. Better than an imaginary title. MatteJohnny (talk) 01:46, October 22, 2020 (UTC)
- It was the best I could come up with that made the most sense. Besides, "Swamp Thing II" would be wholly inaccurate considering the mantle reaches all the way back to dinosaur times. SuperFan95 (talk) 04:32, October 22, 2020 (UTC)
- Swamp Thing is actually just a title given by the people who came to know the legend of a monster in the bayou. The title wasn't used before him for his predecessors except Calbraith Rodgers and Swamp Thing (Prime Earth) I think, since it's an obvious American euphemism. In Legends of the Swamp Thing Halloween Special no previous avatar is called Swamp Thing. So since we already have a Swamp Thing (Prime Earth), it's okay to have a Swamp Thing II.
