The October solicit for Multiversity: The Just #1 indicate Earth-16 is coming back... the Chris Kent version that is. Obviously, we'll have to wait till this comes out, but just saying, trouble coming. --Tupka²¹⁷ 11:32, July 15, 2014 (UTC)

So maybe Earth-16.2008 and Earth-16.2010? It looks like the 2008 version is the one The Just may be set on. There is also the off chance that DC changed it's mind after ComicCon 2010 and moved YJ to something other than Earth-16. Even after SDCC, Earth-16 was used. Primarily by the showrunners, who were given a list of "unused" numbers (not quite) to choose from. If all else fails, we could go for Earth 16 or Earth-Me. --Tupka²¹⁷ 16:50, July 16, 2014 (UTC)

Y'all know that New 52 multiverse is not the same multiverse as the pre-flashpoint multiverse, right? Timeline was reset. DC probably won't be consistent with it, but I suggest we stick with the "no hyphens" rule for the post-flashpoint multiverse, if only for convenience's sake. - Hatebunny (talk) 16:51, July 16, 2014 (UTC)

Yup, there is that... buuuut... DC is using hyphened Earths for the Multiversity solicits. And some of them are matching up with pre-Flashpoint designations:[2][3][4]

The odd ones out are Earth-8 and the double use, pre-Flashpoint, of Earth-16.

Is it possible we're dealing with a whole new system. Yup. Could we be dealing with material that was prepared close after 52. Yup. Will we have a clear answer to which after the issues start dropping. Maybe.

Part of this is trying to be ahead of the curve with something in hand to deal with the character pages that will be added as the issues drop. In most cases, it won't be an issue. Earth-16 though is already botched since it looks like Morrison is going back to an older use of it while DC let the cartoon which used a different setting use it as well.
