All Star Batman & Robin in the same continuity as The Dark Knight Returns?

There are many things that make it improbable for the two stories to have taken place in the same reality. And I'm not counting the modern day vs 80's time difference. A random example would be: in The Dark Knight Returns, Batman mentions that Robin (Dick Grayson) named the "Batmobile". He also notes that only a kid could come up with such a name. Now in All Star when Batman takes Dick to his cave he reveals the name of his car (the batmobile) which he himself clearly made up. Dick even responded with "Batmobile? That's queer" or something like that.

Blame Frank Miller. He came up with both, and he said himself ASB is in the same continuity as DKR (later named Earth-31 in the Countdown-era). Continuity errors exist everywhere, and Frank Miller is not perfect. --Tupka217 12:08, October 5, 2011 (UTC)
