Tessmacher/Teschmacher[]

My impression is that the original superman movie used "Teschmacher", so we have named this page based on that assumption. I'm not 100% sure if the people in this twitter exchange are talking about the Supergirl version of the character, but they have included a screenshot clearly showing "Tessmacher". Maybe someone who's more familiar with the show can confirm and see whether this needs resolving. - Hatebunny (talk) 16:44, April 2, 2018 (UTC)

Just checked the credits, the movie clearly uses Teschmacher, as do more recent adaptations. Not sure where this one comes from (but I don't recall it being spelled out in the TV series). --Tupka217 17:31, April 2, 2018 (UTC)
The title for the most recent episode gives the spelling as "Tessmacher".KylieMfever (talk) 15:57, May 8, 2019 (UTC)
Andrea Brooks uses last name Tessmacher on her twitter (1, 2). However, she it also used Tessmacher to name original version (1). Nalka123 (talk) 12:47, June 4, 2019 (UTC)
Teschmacher is the most common spelling in the show so it's obvious that's her real surname. Any instances of them using Tessmacher is likely an error. Only two episodes have used the latter spelling, which isn't enough to outweigh the former. Surely we can just revert it back to Teschmacher since that is the most common and default spelling? I'm surprised this name was changed based on one or two errors, though it can be noted that her name has been misspelled as Tessmacher in the page. Krucifixer (talk) 21:24, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
Will the Real Miss Tessmacher Please Stand Up? spells it as Tessmacher so unless that was a typo as well...--MysteryScooby (talk) 15:43, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
Source for "Teschmacher"? - Nalka123 (talk) 22:58, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
