Flash #33[]
I haven't read the issue but saw an excerpt on Reddit, that's why I'm on the talk page instead of making an actual edit. I guess The Flash (Volume 5) #33 says the Murder Machine's Barry died before Alfred did, meaning this Flash is either Wally or Bart, right? IIRC, Flash was drawn without his costume in the one-shot with blonde hair (and even has Barry's costume on the cover) so I'm guessing he was supposed to be Barry but they're retroactively changing it. And since we don't know if the Flash that does appear is Wally or Bart, I think it makes sense to have a Flash (Earth -44) page for the one that did appear and this mentioned-only Barry page. --- Haroldrocks talk 14:13, October 25, 2017 (UTC)
- I don't recall if he's referenced by name in MM. This should at least be a note. As soon as someone (re)reads both issues. --Tupka217 14:15, October 25, 2017 (UTC)
- I've now read #33. He definitely dies before Alfred. As for Murder Machine, where is he drawn with blond hair? There's a blond guy in the group, but that's only thought to be Barry because there's no other blond Leaguer. But since he walks off with Diana, he could just as well be Steve Trevor - we don't know.
- I propose just moving this to Flash (Earth -44) and mentioning all the ones that carried the title in the history. --Tupka217 08:52, October 28, 2017 (UTC)
- Here's what I've got:
- Flash #33, page 13, panel 3: Murder Machine "Wally or Bart...? Your Speed Force imprint readings show... Ah, Barry. I'm so glad you weren't Alive to see what happened to Alfred."
- Batman: The Murder Machine: Parsing the characters on pages 6 and 7 is difficult. The only two who are named are Clark and Vic. Identifying Olli isn't that difficult given the goatee. that leave the fourth male and the woman. My assumption is that the woman is Diana. The last character, if there is only one, is a problem. On page 6 he has reddish hair and seems thin in the face. This would imply Wally. On page 7 he is leaving with Diana, has blond hair, and seems sturdier. This would imply Steve.

- I think Tupka's suggestion is the best we've got. We could ask the creative team on Twitter? Whether that character was supposed to be Barry or Steve. But, if not, we err on the side of caution and say the blond guy isn't Barry, Bartholomew Allen (Earth -44) is dead, Flash (Earth -44) is dead, Wally West (Earth -44) and Bartholomew Allen II (Earth -44) exist (with a note suggesting that either one may in fact be the Flash that died fighting the Alfreds). --- Haroldrocks talk 14:15, October 28, 2017 (UTC)
