Death[]

Bane died in the Arkham Knight comics, and he stated to still be alive in the actual game (having left Gotham City and cured himself of his addiction). Captain Boomerang died in the Arkham comics, and then he's alive again in the actual Rocksteady games. King Shark died in Assault on Arkham, and now he's alive in the Rocksteady games. This seems to be a pattern with Rocksteady ignoring the tie-ins. Curiously, Deadshot has been redesigned to look like Will Smith, but Arkhamverse characters tend to get redesigned often (sometimes in ways that don't make sense, like Black Mask changing hair colour). Let's wait until the game comes out. And it's not just Rocksteady, noone cares about tie-in comics. --Tupka217 06:07, September 1, 2020 (UTC)
Besides, developer's words "Suicide Squad:Kill the Justice League is a continuation of Arkham games" doesn't have to literally. He could have mean that this game is a spiritual successor of Arkhamverse. BlackHavok 16:16, September 1, 2020 (UTC+2)
If that were the case, I think Sefton Hill would have issued a retraction by now since every major news site is reporting it literally. There were also several references to the events of the Arkham games in the trailer, such as North Refrigeration. I guess we'll find out, though. Darkknight2149 21:55, September 1, 2020 (UTC)
Oh yeah, I completely forgot. Sefton Hill mentioned at the Fandome panel that setting the game in the Arkhamverse allows them to continue certain story arcs from the Arkham games. So it seems like he was definitely being literal. Darkknight2149 22:00, September 1, 2020 (UTC)
*Shakes fist* I care about the tie-in comics!!
But yeah, this'll be a canon nightmare for a quick second when the game comes out. We'll probably just have to pull something like we do with DC Rebirth retcons - briefly mention it in the history, new picture, and move on. But yeah, as always, gotta wait for the game.
(And as a fun fact, they messed up more than just Black Mask's hair over the games. IIRC, his appearance in Arkham Knight uses his Arkham Origins model - before his mask was part of his face like in City.) --- Haroldrocks talk 22:18, September 1, 2020 (UTC)
And now Deadshot pulled a reverse Michael Jackson after Origins and City (which are canon), lol. The idea of Black Mask choosing to wear a black mask over the black mask that got burnt to his face is funny to me. One thing I'm curious about is where Bronze Tiger and Deathstroke are at. Deathstroke and (in an Easter Egg) Harley Quinn were set up to join the Suicide Squad in Arkham Origins. Bronze Tiger and Deadshot were set up to join in Arkham Origins Blackgate (the 3DS port/sequel to Origins). I guess it's possible that Rocksteady is only counting the main console version of Origins, but even so, I hope Deathstroke is mentioned as a founding member of Task Force X or something. Well if Netherrealm retconned alot in Injustice 2 then when it happens in Suicide Squad:Kill Justice League i won't be as suprised. BTW i have an idea about creating a template in Apperance sections. For someone as Zsasz in Injustice put a template which will be like: "Death Retconned in Injustice 2 (Video Game)" and it would be put in his original death in Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Five Vol 1 18. What do you think ? BlackHavok 12:30, September 2, 2020 (UTC+2)
I would be fine with this. Darkknight2149 07:30, September 3, 2020 (UTC)
