More info?

There's more to Two-Face other than what happened in "The Long Halloween". Like, Two-Face: Year One and Robin: Year One. Could someone dig up some info and place it here? And any other info that would help to tell most of the start of Harvey's Two-Face career? ~J. A. R. Head

This one has been dead for over 5 years. I just realized that an orgin story for New Earth Two-Face was written in 1990; six years previous to Long Halloween. The story is Batman Annual Vol 1 14, and it differs in some points with TLH version of Harvey's story. For instance, there wasn't a Holiday killer, and nobody from the organized crime was involved except for Maroni. In short words, TLH drew inspiration from Batman Annual #14. The question is, which one should be considered as canon? -S.S. (talk) 05:32, November 18, 2014 (UTC)-

Two Face and Robin

"Two-Face was the reason Bruce Wayne fired Dick Grayson, then Robin, from being his partner. After a failed attempt to rescue the then D.A. from Two-Face, who also had The Dark Knight captive as well, Two-Face brutally beat Dick, scaring Batman into firing Dick."

What Comic did this happen on? The story that retells Jason Todd's origin has this happen differently. It doesn't line up well with what I know of Dick Journey form Robin to Nightwing in the NTT comics.

Also how-come Harvey Dent doesn't have an Earth-One page?--MithrandirOlorin (talk) 06:06, April 9, 2015 (UTC)

  • Retcons happen. Probably in flashback somewhere.
  • If there is little different about their character, some characters are merged. Some people (like Batgirl) really should get an Earth-One page, but for others, it's not really important. --Tupka217 09:55, April 9, 2015 (UTC)
In the case of both Two-Face and Barbara Gordon their New Earth pages document nothing of their Silver or Bronze Age histories. It just jumps right from the Post-Crisis produced Prequel comics to the Post-Crisis era.--MithrandirOlorin (talk) 09:10, April 11, 2015 (UTC)
I think that the Post-Crisis interpretation of Two-Face (after The Long Halloween and the series of prequel stories that sprung from it, at least) is heavily incompatible with the Pre-Crisis version. At least more incompatible than the Pre-Crisis versions of Penguin, Riddler, or Scarecrow are with their Post-Crisis versions, but those three warrant the separation apparently. --Kerfuffles2 (talk) 07:50, September 26, 2018 (EST)
