Considering she did all her work before she married, wouldn't it be better if thise were Joye Hummel? --Tupka217 (talk) 19:26, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- What name did she put on her own product? That seems like it should be the default, but does that rule apply, if nobody knew who she was when she produced it?
- If it changed, during her career, or even after her career, isn't it still better to keep her stuff tagged with her more-well-known name? This is the "John Wayne/Marion Morrison" argument. Sometimes the more correct name is the less recognizable. Huck Foley (talk) 03:13, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
She ghost wrote. I only have access to some of the later trades, and they don't credit her at all. Either way, WP and all news articles about her death call her Hummel.--Tupka217 (talk) 09:13, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
- Well then it's probably best to be consistent with the existing literature, and if the obituaries are all the press she got, then it's probably best to do it their way. Huck Foley (talk) 10:53, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
