Merge with Maru (Prime Earth)?[]
It seems most likely to me that the Maru from Wonder Woman Vol 4 48 was just retconned slightly for Rucka's run in Vol 5, I don't think the two different pages are necessary. Perhaps they should be merged? Samohyeah (talk) 13:29, December 10, 2017 (UTC)
- Only if "Slightly" suddenly started meaning "completely". They have very little, if anything, in common. --Tupka217 14:03, December 10, 2017 (UTC)
- Both Russian toxicologists with the same name, both adaptations of Doctor Poison and foes of Wonder Woman. What is the difference between them? They have different hair colors and look different? Meanwhile Lilith Clay for example shares the same page as a character that is COMPLETELY different, far more different than these two. That makes no sense. - I was not aware the new version was Russian as well. What's the source for that? --Tupka217 14:43, December 10, 2017 (UTC)
- In Wonder Woman Vol 5 13 Steve mentions Maru's helicopter being Russian. He also says Maru continued her family's business in poison which aligns with the New 52 Maru's history. Samohyeah (talk) 14:51, December 10, 2017 (UTC)
- It's pretty heavily implied. It's fine if the pages won't be merged but I don't understand why it's one rule for one page and a different one for another in the case of say, Lilith Clay. Samohyeah (talk) 16:12, December 10, 2017 (UTC)
- Many of Wonder Woman's villains were drastically changed by the DC Rebirth such as Hecate (Who was originally reptilian and now a 3 headed entity) and Nikolas Aegeus (who was in his 20s and blond but now matches his earth one counterpart) and dont have 2 separate pages, so why should Dr. Poison?
