"Penguin"[]

Some clarification and a comment.

Oswald was specifically addressed as "Penguin" at least twice during "Pilot". Once while he was keeping the embezzler "warm" for Mooney and once by Mooney herself.

In both cases it had a a heavy degree of derision and Oswald made it clear he doesn't like it when people call him "Penguin".

At best it's an unwanted nickname at this point. That's something that could go under the notes, but not under "Aliases". And definitely not under "CurrentAlias".

I watched it on a crappy internet stream, so thanks for clearing that up. And that's what I said, it was most definitely not an alias. At least not yet. Neptune - Everything's impossible until somebody does it. 01:42, September 23, 2014 (UTC)

History Unknown?[]

I know this wiki requires a lot of reliable citations and such, but this is a currently running show focusing partially on him that's finished it's first season and provided plenty of "history" of him. I think it's safe to say that section needs to be filled. I'd do it myself, but I'm not sure which websites to look for for reliability, but I think the official Gotham websites should be a good place to start Fox's Website Gotham Chronicle (I am currently nerding out after discovering the second website). Actually, the second one is perfect. It sums up the episodes as if they happened in real life. AND I'M NERDING OUT SO MUCH I HAD TO STOP MYSELF FROM SCREAMING IN DELIGHT!!!! PyroGothNerd (talk) 02:01, July 17, 2015 (UTC)
Whenever you decide to fill the history, it would be better if you source the episodes and not external websites. That gives readers the actual sources of the events so they can go to the episode and watch the event cited. - S.S. (talk) 02:45, July 17, 2015 (UTC)

Change main image to "Oswald Cobblepot 006.png"[]

This new image adds to the quality with crisper colors and a better angle, while still keeping the costume that most people will remember him wearing. -- OliverMichaelWest 15:46, January 19, 2021 (UTC)

Works for me. Updating. --Haroldrocks (talk) 16:22, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
