Pagename[]

This is one of those instances when I am doubting the approaches of this wiki. It is the very first time I ever read about Kirk Langstrom's full name being Robert Kirkland Langstrom. And of course, the page gives his name as Robert Langstrom, gives the full name in the box and lists Kirk Langstrom the name most readers will be familiar with - as an alias. This is confusing to anyone but the most introverted bat-fans. Further I would ask to see this alleged full name sourced. Please? Thanks. I don't know about the earliest source, but Batman Villains Secret Files and Origins 2005 gives this full name as Robert Kirkland Langstrom. --Tupka217 16:51, June 10, 2013 (UTC)
We have changed the views on Pagename a little bit since 2013. Now, if a character consistently uses their middle name as a first name, we are willing to have the page name be "MiddleName LastName (Universe)". So go ahead and start the process to move this page from Robert Langstrom (New Earth) to Kirkland Langstrom (New Earth) and it will probably be approved. -- SuperFan24K (talk) 00:48, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

Split[]

Can I split the Prime Earth redirect from this page? I'm not really a fan of folding New 52 characters into their New Earth pages but I figured I'd give any opposition a chance to voice their opinions first. --- Haroldrocks talk 14:43, May 16, 2015 (UTC)

I think it should be split as long as the PE page is Kirk Langstrom (Prime Earth). Robert is strictly a New Earth thing AFAIK. DrJohnnyDiablo (talk) 14:57, May 16, 2015 (UTC)

Earth One Split[]

I've been recently reading upon Man-Bat's appearances in New Earth and I can't find a good enough reason not to separate the page into an Earth-One counterpart. The NE origin is drastically different from his first appearances; in both Secret Origins #39 and Legends of the Dark Knight Annual #5. Plus, none of his Pre-Crisis appearances are actually referenced in NE in any significant way. Since I think I'm the most informed editor about this topic on the wiki, I propose the pages should be separated. I'll do it myself if there aren't any arguments against it in the following week. - S.S. (talk) 23:49, 5 November 2022 (UTC)

I see no reason not to split, In general, since Batman was rebooted after Crisis, I think its fine to split any Batman-related character. - SuperFan24K (talk) 00:20, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
