Show is not set on Earth-Prime[]
The season 2 finale and the showrunners have confirmed that this show is not set on Earth-Prime (the main Arrowverse Earth which has pre-Crisis Earth-38 characters) [1]. So I think it's time we separated the show's characters from the Earth-38 versions. JohnK99 (talk) 07:04, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- Is the only difference Diggle? If so, that could just be a Earth-1 > Earth-Prime thing. --Tupka217 (talk) 08:00, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- No. The Season 2 finale revealed that Superman is the only superhero in that reality. It will have to be separated. DrJohnnyDiablo (talk) 11:56, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- This interview with the showrunner sheds more light on the matter. DrJohnnyDiablo (talk) 12:44, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

- Yeah. That's going to be alot of moving and splitting. FWIW, I think we should call the reality "Arrowverse: Superman & Lois". DrJohnnyDiablo (talk) 12:57, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- We could move them to "Superman & Lois TV Series" but "Arrowverse: Superman & Lois" would also be fine. Furthermore, the Bizarre versions of characters could also be moved to "Arrowverse: Inverse World". Cmanigold 13:13, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- I'll get to writing the articles in a few hours so the S&L universe content isn't empty when we move. JohnK99 (talk) 13:22, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- The problem with this is that all the references they made in the first season about their part in the Crisis and the interviews they did with cast members of the other Arrowverse shows that said that it was in the post-crisis Arrowverse cause a lot of problems with the canon. It also conflicts with the multi-series arc they've been doing for John Diggle as two parts of that story take place in Superman & Lois. Also, the fact they have two sons was supposed to be an after effect of Crisis as established in the crossover that helped to set up the show. It seems to me that they wrote the first season with the understanding that it was in the post-crisis Arrowverse, but then chose to disregard that when they wrote the second season. - They never mentioned the Crisis directly in the show so it doesn't matter. All they mentioned was that he teamed up with Ollie in past. The change was made when Season 1 was still airing, it was originally intended to be part of Earth-Prime. We go with what the current canon is per the showrunners, not what we prefer. Besides it helps explain away the contradictions with Supergirl and why Superman never interacts with other heroes. JohnK99 (talk)
