DC Database

At last someone created this article. I was waiting for it since the spin-off was announced, and not just to read the page: I was wondering how this universe (and its characters) will be called in parentheses — most likely "Arrow", but will it be fair to the characters , who appears in The Flash series? Can't we come up with a better name for the universe?

Name[]

Shouldn't this page be called Flash (2014 TV Series) to remain constant with Flash (1990 TV Series)? It was to my understanding that shows with "The" in the beginning like The Batman should get rid of it, like with The Batman (TV Series). --- Haroldrocks talk 01:18, October 8, 2014 (UTC)

The show has been solicited as "The Flash". This includes CW's own website and various other entertainment websites. If it's to have a consistent naming scheme for television shows, I'm fine with that too. The preceding unsigned comment was added by TheD3xus (talk • contribs).

The two examples were also solicited with the "the" in front. IIRC, the reason we leave "the" off is for categorization reasons. If the coding was fixed to allow us to use "the", then we should move the other series instead. I'm just thinking that one or the other has to budge. --- Haroldrocks talk 01:28, October 8, 2014 (UTC)
I say we just rename this series. It'd be more work too move the other series which already has a ton of pages, and episode pages. Neptune - Everything's impossible until somebody does it. 01:30, October 8, 2014 (UTC)
Nope. We have a The-fix now, and this is the correct title. --Tupka217 08:54, October 8, 2014 (UTC)
How about the other series, Tupka? The Flash 1990 and The Batman 2004? If the coding was fixed, then shouldn't we also fix the other titles that need it? It'd be a lot of work, but I'm assuming that a bot could do most of it. --- Haroldrocks talk 10:15, October 8, 2014 (UTC)
Yep. In the long run. When we're bored. --Tupka217 10:39, October 8, 2014 (UTC)

Earth 2[]

Do we have a confirmation on the spelling "Earth-2"? Just asking, because Berlanti called it "Earth 2" at least once. Anyone know of any other uses? --Tupka217 17:10, October 13, 2015 (UTC)

DC is calling it "Earth-2". I think that's official enough. S.S. (talk) 20:47, October 13, 2015 (UTC)
Works for me. Saves us from having to move. --Tupka217 21:08, October 13, 2015 (UTC)
