Albinism[]
I can't tell from the picture. Is this version of Tobias Whale revealed (or hinted) to be albino like his other versions, or does he just have white hair? --- Haroldrocks talk 23:39, August 12, 2014 (UTC)
Two separate characters?[]
Wait, didn't they come out and reveal that the New 52 Tobias Whale and Rebirth Tobias Whale were two separate characters? (They also did this with Wally West, Lobo, Richard Dragon, and Superman... DC has mastered the art of the retcon) I could have sworn they said something about the albino Tobias Whale being Rebirth Tobias Whale's nephew, or something to that effect. - If I'm not mistaken, this was revealed in Black Lightning: Cold Dead Hands #1. DarkKnight2149 01:30, October 31, 2018 (UTC)
Ah, here it is. Are there any objections to a split between this article and Tobias Whale (Prime Earth)? DarkKnight2149 01:34, October 31, 2018 (UTC)
- Go for it. Kyletheobald (talk) 03:13, October 31, 2018 (UTC)
- Done. I also managed to dig up an interview where his co-creator explains why he re-invented Tobias Whale for DC Rebirth (the cliffnotes explanation is that he created Tobias in the 1970s as his version of Marvel's Kingpin, and he wanted to do something different this time around).
