So... does anyone know why there's no page for the (unnamed) pre-Crisis version of the character? Y'know, the one who started out as Mr. Zero, changed his name to Mr. Freeze, and went through about a half-dozen goofy costumes during the Silver and Bronze Ages? We've got pages for the pre-Crisis versions of just about every other Batman villain (for guys like Joker & Penguin, we even differentiate between the Golden and Silver Ages!), so what's the deal here?
- I certainly think they're separate enough for separate pages. If you do, though, make sure to go through Freeze's appearances and update all his Earth-One issues with the new link. --Tupka217 08:29, January 22, 2013 (UTC)
- I actually believe it should not be separated. The Silver and Bronze Age Mr. Freeze is very different from the modern version. However, he was still been treated as the "Earth-One" version up until the late 90's, when he was recreated. This means that Freeze remained unchanged when the New Earth Post-Crisis universe started and if it had not been for BTAS and Paul Dini, he wouldn't have changed at all. This sudden change in origins could easily be explained in this article, à la Superman (Clark Kent). - S.S. (talk) 16:22, July 7, 2016 (UTC)
