Suggested Move

The yellow ring is kind of an anomaly from the other ring pagenames in that we've been naming it based on where it's originally produced instead of the other defining characteristics. I'm suggesting a move to the more neutral term Yellow Power Ring. Does anybody have any objections or suggestions?

None. However, how about Yellow Lantern Power Ring, or Sinestro Corps Power Ring?

In some older comics Sinestro's power ring is yellow, but it has the green lantern symbol. For example, Secret Society of Super Villains #1, page 6. Is this notable enough to put in the article? --Mand'alor te Siit 17:49, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Also when Guy Gardner had the same ring it was a circle inside another circle. See I Got Your Ring.jpg

I think it's possible the former is a case of "lack of reference". It occasionally happens.
As for File:I Got Your Ring.jpg (linked for the lazy), it's probably just because the ring is lit. You'd have to check other panels in that comic to be sure it's that symbol. -- Tupka217 18:31, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Action Comics Vol. 1 688, page 3, last panel. it clearly shows Guy's ring not in use. --Mand'alor te Siit 23:30, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
