History
The Tanami Desert is a desert located in northern Australia, situated in the Northern Territory. It has a rocky terrain with small hills that causes M'gann M'orzz to be reminded of her home planet, Mars. As such the Tanami Desert, Australia, is where M'gann resides when she is not otherwise in America.
The Tanami was the Northern Territory's final frontier and wasn't fully explored until well into the twentieth century.
