Tane is the Oceanic god of forests and beauty.
History
With the return of the gods of ancient Oceania every millennium, the nature god Tane intended to restore Earth's plant life threatened by humanity. He created in the northwest Pacific Ocean what he called the Forest of Tane, which would expand across the entire planet, but his plan was thwarted by the Flash and Green Lantern.[1]
Tane and his siblings can merge into a giant of colossal power known as the Fiend With Five Faces.[1]
