Tank "Ikky" Tinker was the mechanic of ace pilot Hop Harrigan.

History

His real name is Tutankhamen Anastasius Angustora Ichabod Tinker, and he was originally known as Ikky Tinker. When his uncle, an archaeologist and English baronet died, he inherited his name, estate and title. Since everyone found his name absolutely hilarious, he was named Tank Tinker after this fact was discovered.
