Task Force X is a sinister government organization founded by General Sam Lane and Amanda Waller after the events of Zero Day.
History
Amanda Waller and The General form Task Force X to prepare for a return of Kryptonians after they witness the attack of Zero Day. The group worked alongside Project Cadmus for a time, but The General eventually made the decision to shut down the project. Brain and Monsieur Mallah survive this attack.
Once Superman becomes public, they are quick to assume that he is there to destroy, as his predecessors once did before
