Tatsu Yamashiro is a former CIA operative who infiltrated the League of Assassins under the name "Katana".

History

After learning about the danger the Soultaker Sword posed, she stole the sword and faked her own death.

Some time later, she was contacted by her godfather, Alfred Pennyworth, to become the personal bodyguard of Bruce Wayne, a position she accepted. After several tests, Wayne showed her the other side of his life, that of a costumed vigilante. Tatsu joined his battle, again under the name Katana.
