Synopsis for "Real Men Don't Klik"
Curtis Banner is a middle-aged social worker for a deep contempt of his clients as well as most of the people in the street, whom he calls: "the dregs of New York". In one of his routinary house inspections he mets with Mrs Weald, whom claims to have not received a welfare check. The nearby TV announces the presence of cosmic anormalities that scientists can't explain. As Banner watches the TV suddenly Mrs Weald changes: the baby she had in her arms is now hanging from her neck.
Curtis runs from the flat but he keeps seeing mothers with babies hanging from their necks, in the streets and in photos. He drinks himself to sleep.
Next day, Curtis collapses in his office. His boss finds him, and when she increpates him, Banner slaps her. He is then conduced to an asylum.
Here he reflects on his childhood, where he was abused and bullied by other kids, and in his nights he dreamt of killing or facing them. Him choosing social work as a career is in the same vein: his desire of having power over people and forcing them to plead to him. He is met by a fellow inmate, Lewis, who points out that the same happened to him: suddenly started seeing women with babies hanging from their gullets.
Later, with Curtis out of the asylum they met with Lewis and discuss that the world is changing but they are staying behind. They go to sleep together, in separate beds. The next morning Curtis Banner wakes up next to an unknown woman.
