Team 6 is a military strike team lead by John Lynch before the creation of Team 7.
History
Team 6 was deployed to Midway City to combat Mister Freeze. They underestimated Mister Freeze's forces however and were greatly outnumbered. Their team leader John Lynch called for their retreat and ordered Grifter and Deadeye to cover them. Grifter opted for him and Slayton to cover their retreat, but Deadeye already made a run for it to cover them. He was shot down however and Grifter ran to his side until both of them were knocked back by an explosion. The team was then saved by Superman and Wonder Woman.
