Ted Grant is the vigilante known as Wildcat.

As a civilian, Ted Grant was working as a coach at Gotham City Junior High. When Dinah Lance, daughter of one of his old allies, Black Canary (Dinah Drake), became one of his students, he hid his ties to her family. Until the day where Dinah Drake asked him to train her daughter. He accepted to become one of her two mentors.
