Synopsis
Billionaire philanthropist Loren Jupiter and his mysterious companion Omen have provided sanctuary to four alien/human hybrid teenagers. Along with the Atom, these four comprise the new Teen Titans. Jupiter wastes little time putting the Titans through their paces and has them engage in intense training sequences in the Solar Tower's Pressure Chamber.
News of this new group of Titans quickly spreads, and certain individuals such as Nightwing and Robin, take an acute interest in learning what this new team is about.
The Titans meanwhile, finds themselves facing a new threat: Pylon and his secret organization, the The Veil. The purpose of the Veil is to seek out and destroy alien life forms whether they pose a threat to the Earth or not. Pylon is aware of these new Titans' as well as their link to the alien menace known as the H'San Natall. Pylon's group succeed in capturing a lost H'San Natall experiment known as Fringe. By doing so, they also run afoul of Supergirl and succeed in capturing her as well.
The Teen Titans team up with Nightwing and Robin, as well as Captain Marvel, Jr. to locate the Veil and rescue Supergirl and Fringe. Although they are successful in this rescue operation, Pylon and the Veil remain at large. The Titans recognize that the primitive Fringe is actually one of them.
Seeing how well the Titans worked together, Nightwing gives Jupiter and Omen his stamp of approval.
