Synopsis

Deathstroke takes custody of his daughter Rose Wilson when her foster parents are killed. He captures the assassin responsible, Wade LaFarge, and has Rose murder him.[1] The Teen Titans return for another weekend at Titans Tower, and they're tasked with escorting inmates from the newly reopened Alcatraz Island. They take down Gizmo and Mammoth, then receive a briefing on Raven's origins. Deathstroke interrogates acolytes from the Church of Blood for Raven's location, with Rose Wilson at his side as the new Ravager.[2] It's revealed that Brother Blood has given Raven a new body and intends to take her as his wife. The Titans go to investigate a disturbance at the hospital, and Robin takes them for a joyride in his stolen Batmobile. They find comatose fortune tellers who are possessed by Raven's soul-self, screaming at them for help. Superboy sees Cyborg take himself apart, and Krypto arrives with a similar demonic warning.[3]

Raven's cries for help manifest as birds attacking the city, and the animated skeleton of Trigon attacks Titans Tower. Superboy destroys it, and Raven's cries lead them to the underground Blood headquarters. Brother Blood insists that his predecessors failed because they wouldn't get their hands dirty, and takes Superboy's powers by drinking his blood.[4] Deathstroke arrives and explains that the Church of Blood worships Trigon. Brother Blood intends to marry Raven and fulfill an apocalypse prophecy, but Beast Boy rescues her. Raven finally awakens and opens her soul-self, swallowing the group inside to meet Jericho.[5] Jericho tries to kill them, but they're released when Blood uses Raven to unleash an army of demons. Beast Boy takes down Blood by turning into a worm and jumping inside him. Cyborg tricks Jericho into leaping through his systems and becoming a data file. Raven sends the cultists to a dimension where they're slaughtered by demons, but Brother Blood begins rebuilding his army. In the aftermath, Raven decides to rejoin the team at Beast Boy's request. Deathstroke tells Ravager she has failed him, but Rose insists she is just like her father and carves out her own eye to prove it.[6]
