Synopsis for "Betrothed"

Starfire plans to visit her home planet Tamaran - and to never come back to Earth. As the princess of Tamaran it is her duty to prevent its conquest and marry Glgrdsklechhh, the leader of the alien race the Tamaraneans wage war with, which would have to mean that she could never come back to Earth.

As it turns out, Starfires older sister Blackfire, who currently rules over Tamaran and arranged her marriage in first place, has made a deal with Glgrdsklechhh; If he would get to marry Starfire, Blackfire would get a jewel to enhance her superhuman powers and rule over Tamaran with an iron fist.

As the Teen Titans reveal the truth at the wedding, it comes to a fight between the two sisters, which is ultimately won by Starfire by destroying the jewel. Although it would have been her duty to reign over Tamaran then, Starfire gave the crown to her former educator Galfore.
