Synopsis for "The Source Of Mercy"
Tim Drake starts to investigate about the return of Kon-El, who seems to be the primary suspect of a genocide. Taken into custody, Superboy gets questioned by Martian Manhunter, who is convinced he committed the massacre against the Durlans, an alien tribe who were refugees on Earth after a war with the Green Lantern Corps in their home world. As J'onn J'onzz questioned Kon, the only survived Durlan, a girl named Ra'ut L'lwer, intervenes and helps Kon escape, telling him she's sure he isn't the perpetrator of the mass murdering of her own people.
Kon is in a complete black-out state, as he cannot remember anything of what happened and had to trust the words of Ra'ut: as the girl was exhausted after her fight with J'onn, Superboy calls Tim to be helped. As Kon enters the apartment of Gar and Miguel, Cassie is heart-broken and still suffering for the way Kon left, remaining in the 30th century without an explanation. Still, Tim believes Kon must be helped, as he is a Titan, knowing in his heart that his friend is innocent. While they argue about what to do, with new member Power Girl not agreeing to help a mass murder suspect, Martian Manhunter comes back but gets neutralized by a berserk version of Kon, full or doubt and rage.
As Tim, Raven, Miguel and Gar go away, trying to make sense of the whole thing with the help of Ra'ut, Cassie calls Manchester Black: the man wants her and Power Girl to join another team, The Elite, and form a new Teen Titans team with them as he will deliver Kon and the other Titans to justice, as he believes Cassie and Tanya are the most valuable pieces of the current incarnation of the Titans.
