Teen Titans Giant #4 is an issue of the series Teen Titans Giant (Volume 1) with a cover date of November, 2018. It was published on September 26, 2018.

Synopsis for "Desolation Boulevard!"

The H.I.V.E. dispatches its attack fleet from New Mexico to attack an island while the Titans are distracted by the Fearsome Five. Raven meanwhile transports the Titans to the Golden Gate bridge and Robin states that they can't go back to fight. He directs the Titans to stop the traffic and not let anyone enter the city. As they wonder whether they might have more devices which could prepare and release the toxin, Robin dispatches Starfire to the highest building in the city in order to check if they do. Starfire confirms and he states that they can't go back on the offensive without a proper plan.

The Disruptor meanwhile tells the Fearsome Five to keep the Teen Titans away from him while he primes the devices for preparing and releasing the toxin. Shimmer telepathically talks to Psimon and states she suspects something is up, with the latter agreeing and stating the Disruptor is preventing him from reading his thoughts with his heightened power. The Fearsome Five soon find themselves under attack by Titans and soon get overpowered. Raven meanwhile is attracted at the idea of unleashing her true power, but fears doing it might send her our of control.

After the Disruptor makes Beast Boy lose his giant ape form, the tide turns in the favor of the Fearsome Five. Raven starts getting angry and unleashes her power just as Disruptor arms the devices which will releases the Toxin upon San Francisco. Robin tells her to stop otherwise the Disruptor will die, but she refuses to listen stating he must pay.

Synopsis for Teen Titans: "Breaking the Rules"

This story is reprinted from Teen Titans (Volume 3) #4.

Jericho has taken possession of his father Deathstroke's body. He is determined to stop this new group of Teen Titans from staying together or else there will only be more death. But something about Deathstroke's psyche is driving Jericho insane. Cyborg and Beast Boy try to stop him, but he hurls Deathstroke's sword through Cyborg's robotic eye and shoots Beast Boy.

Meanwhile, Starfire returns to Titans Tower III to make sure that the other Titans are still there. However, they have all left to check on Impulse's injury.

Elsewhere, Raven is running through the woods. A group of hooded men is following her and shoots her in the back with something.

Impulse is in the hospital undergoing surgery to replace the kneecap that was shot off by Deathstroke. Bart heals at super-speed and then takes off for the San Francisco Library. Robin, Superboy and Wonder Girl track him down and find that he is reading every book in the entire library at once. While there, the image of Ares appears before Wonder Girl in a pane of glass. He gives her a gift, the golden lasso of Ares.

Suddenly, Deathstroke breaks in and begins fighting the Titans. Robin and he are about to throw down one-on-one when Bart appears ready for action. He is no longer dressed in the red and white costume of Impulse. He is now – Kid Flash!

Synopsis for Super Sons: "Son Day, Bloody Son Day!"

This story is reprinted from Super Sons #4.

Early in the morning, Lois and Alfred go to wake Jon and Damian respectively, only to find that the boys are missing. In Providence, Superboy and Robin have been captured by Kid Amazo, chained together so Jon can't break out without injuring Damian. Kid Amazo recounts how he made his family watch while he killed android duplicates of them, and decides that it's time to kill the originals. His Robin and Superboy androids drag the unconscious Meyers into the room.

Kid Amazo explains his plan to lure in the Justice League with Robin and Superboy as bait and then copy their powers to create an unstoppable android army. Lex Luthor crashes in through a wall, his arrival predicted down to the second by Damian, who reveals that he used the android head he was tinkering with in the previous issue to signal Luthor. As Luthor battles Reggie's original body to reclaim the stolen Amazo Armor, Superboy and Robin carry Sara Meyer (who is now awake) and her still-unconscious family members outside, safely stowing the others before heading back in with Sara to confront her brother.

To face down Luthor, Robin, and Superboy, Kid Amazo re-merges with his androids. However, this leaves him vulnerable to Sara's machine control powers. She immobilizes her brother while ripping the Amazo Armor off of him. Luthor stomps the armor to disable it, threatens to turn the Super Sons in to the police alongside Reggie, and offers his support to Sara and her family in their future heroic endeavors. While he is momentarily distracted talking to her, Jon and Damian make their escape through the hole in the wall.

Jon carries Damian back to Smith Farm, telling him to find his own way back to Gotham. The two argue, Damian saying that they saved a family and that Jon loved having the chance to work with him, Jon countering that they should have just let their fathers deal with the situation. They go inside to find Lois and Alfred, who are very upset with them.

Synopsis for Sideways: "Interviews"

This story is reprinted from Sideways #4.

Derek consulted Ernie on intervening in a fight as Sideways between Replicant and Hot Spot that was being broadcast and the blonde insisted on researching the former of the two combatants. However, Sideways disregarded this and walked through a rift. By 1:15 P.M., Derek was late for meeting his mother at Dark Star Sciences, while Leto Dominus was waiting. Derek was supposed to meet Leto Dominus with his mother for an internship and his absence annoyed the former of the two women, as he was several hundred miles away in Metropolis.

Replicant was defeating Hot Spot before Sideways saved the latter by using a rift on the former. Sideways and Hot Spot briefly introduced themselves to each other before Replicant returned and attempted to learn the former of the two heroes' powers. Sideways learned that Derek could copy powers, as Leto Dominus pointed out that he was half an hour late for their interview. After his mother vouched for him, her boss allowed the interview to be rescheduled.

Replicant, who duplicated Sideways' powers, attempted to learn how to use them. The former attempted to use Hot Spot's fire powers on the two heroes, but Sideways created a rift that redirected them, hurting him. Replicant touched his body while rifting, causing himself to explode and die. Derek returned to his house and learned that his mother had set up an interview for him before checking her texts. When Derek opened the door of his room, he found Tempus Fuginaut waiting and he offered to train him, as the dimensional lines were breaking.

As Derek's mother left Leto Dominus' office, she walked past Professor Portefoy, who expressed his dislike towards her before revealing that he found no traces of residual energy or effect after the former of the two women was exposed to dark matter and after the latter instructed him to run the scans she sent. Portefoy tracked Sideways' every appearance and Leto Dominus ordered the hero to be found at all costs.
