Synopsis for "Beast in Show"

As the Teen Titans fight the Transfaxian Globulles, one of them vomits on Beast Boy after getting punched. The Transfaxians depart due to their sick compatriot and the Titans decide to watch a dog show being held in the Jump City Stadium after the fight. Beats Boy however is feeling delirious since being vomited upon and turns into a dog after hearing about the dog competition. As he runs out, Mallah and Brain try to climb the tower in order to rob the Titans and get money for a new lair.

Mallah hears about the prize of 1 million dollars for the winner of the dog competition and Brain wishes they had a dog. After spotting Beast Boy in his dog form, they decide to use him., not knowing who he really is. At the dog show, a disguised Mallah makes him dance and talk, which makes the Titans suspicious. They soon realize the "dog" is Beast Boy and decide to rescue him. As the presenters are announcing the winner, they attack Mallah and Brain, but soon stop fighting after hearing Beast Boy won.

Beast Boy is confused after turning back and Starfire later tells him at the Titans Tower that the vomit of Transfaxian Globulles can mutate a person. As Beast Boy finishes saying that all he knows that he was feeling "sick as a dog", he finds that everyone has run away from him. Meanwhile at their lair, Mallah and Brain relax but the latter finds the luxurious life boring, suggesting they adopt a pet cat.

Synopsis for "Buttered-Fries Effect"

Cyborg shows his team his newest invention, a French Fry Canon that fires all kind of fries. As he asks who wants to test it first, the Titans hear an alarm but get stopped by responding to it by an old man who warns them that the fate of the future depends on them choosing to do nothing. Beast Boy and Cyborg decide to use it as an excuse to relax, but Robin insists on responding to the emergency.

The old man tells Robin that the emergency alarm was a fake as he wanted to test whether the Titans will listen to him and claims he's him from the future. Robin however states that he doesn't notice any similarities and the elderly man tells him about his future as well as him often wishing that he had the knowledge he has now in his younger days. He also tells them that the female Titans live a happy retired life in future together with Jinx and another roommate in Florida. Beast Boy and Cyborg are also retired and roommates.

Robin doesn't get why they aren't supposed to respond to any emergency during the current day, leading his future self to respond that Jump City in future is a dystopian landscape blighted by aliens, giant androids and monsters, but this future can be prevented if they don't respond to a robbery at Jump City Museum in the night. When asked, he states that they won't get any stuffed mushrooms and talks about a waiter who gets fired and replaced during the robbery. Beast Boy explains through the example of fries dipped in butter that a bad decision will lead to bad consequences.

Robin decides that the Teen Titans will not go to the Jump City Museum, but decides to check on it anyway after getting anxious. There he notices Mother Mae-Eye and finds her ordering a waiter who's delivering stuffed mushrooms. The next morning he shows a bag to his teammates and they realize he has the mushrooms, but they find that the Robin from the future has vanished. It turns out that he was unable to change history.
