"If You Can't Beat 'Em...": The story begins with Speedy fighting Plasmus in the junkyard. Speedy shoots Plasmus with an explosive round and the villain explodes. Plasmus then begins to rephase back into himself.

Teen Titans Go! #14 is an issue of the series Teen Titans Go! (Volume 1) with a cover date of February, 2005. It was published on December 22, 2004.

Synopsis for "If You Can't Beat 'Em..."

The story begins with Speedy fighting Plasmus in the junkyard. Speedy shoots Plasmus with an explosive round and the villain explodes. Plasmus then begins to rephase back into himself.

As Speedy is swallowed by the now-whole-again Plasmus, Beast arrives and knocks the archer out of Plasmus' stomach. The rest of the Titans arrive and beat Plasmus with each of their specialty. Beast Boy then suggests they go out for pizza.

Suddenly, Plasmus begins to rephase again but in smaller chunks. Robin freezes Plasmus' parts and Speedy compliments him.

Just then, Plasmus' parts thaw out of the ice and begin to attack again. The heroes then realize that, if they break Plasmus' parts any further, they will become even smaller, worm like monsters. The Titans run from these critters and Robin and Speedy decide they need a new game plan. Robin and Speedy tell the rest of the Titans to stop trying to destroy Plasmus' goop worms. They have a new idea.

Robin and Speedy to tell the Titans to lead the worms towards Raven. They do just that and Raven waits at the main road prepared. As the Titans jump down from the ledge, Raven uses her powers to hold up a large funnel to funnel the worms back into one large Plasmus. Speedy then proceeds to shoot the one-piece Plasmus with freeze arrows and he freezes completely.

Beast Boy again suggests they go out for pizza. Both Robin and Speedy say, "You bet!" The two heroes then get into a screaming match about jinxing each other. The rest of the Titans watch and laugh and the story comes to a close.
