Synopsis for "The Rock 'n' Roll Rogue!"

The Teen Titans prevent a riot when rock star Sammy Soul runs out in the middle of a concert. Investigating, they discover the teen idol's guardianship is a bone of legal contention between his only living relatives and his manager, but both factions are only interested in the youth for his money. When Sammy runs away to South America to search for his missing uncle, a treasure-hunter named Matt Murdock, the Titans follow, and arrive in time to rescue Sammy, his newfound friend Juan, and an amnesiac Murdock from headhunters. Murdock returns to civilization to become Sammy's legal guardian.

Notes

Trivia

  • A pastiche of this cover was used for the cover to New Titans Vol 1 55 which introduced Donna's (then) newest costume and code-name, Troia.
  • There is a character called "Matt Murdock" in the story. This is probably a reference to a certain "man without fear" from Marvel Comics.
