Synopsis for "Through These Doors Pass the Bravest Titans of them All!"

Reading her teammates' minds, Lilith unintentionally uncovers the secret subconscious fears of Robin, Mal, and Wonder Girl. She and Mr. Jupiter concoct a plan by which the three Titans are forced to confront their fears in the form of hallucinatory dream-adventures. Mal conquers his agoraphobia, a fear of open spaces originating from a time when he was beaten by a street gang after being caught in an open lot, during an imaginary space mission. Wonder Girl overcomes her fear of being thought unfeminine due to her Amazon strength when she is forced to shave her head and disguise herself as a man during an espionage caper. Robin comes to grips with his fear of failure when he is able to admit having been unable to rescue a drowning pilot.

Synopsis for "Nameless, Wander I"

Leaving home to find her real parents, Lilith joins a traveling carnival as a mentalist, where she is tricked into believing that Jack Horn, the carnival owner, and his wife, Riva, are her stepfather and stepmother. When she discovers she has been duped and tries to leave, Horn pulls a gun and Riva is accidentally killed in the ensuing struggle.

Synopsis for Speedy: "Green Arrow's New Partner!""

This story is reprinted from Adventure Comics #260.

When Oliver Queen tells Roy Harper that he's going for a walk, but spots him going out as Green Arrow alone, Roy follows as Speedy. He soon finds that the Green Arrow is training a new boy how to shoot a bow and arrow. Later, Speedy learns that it's his classmate Jay Hallick.

Believing that the Green Arrow is seeking to replace him as Speedy, Roy becomes depressed, but later learns he had nothing to worry about because when he confronts the Green Arrow, he learns that Jay is being trained to be a master archer so that he and his father can become crime fighters known as the Arrows of Alaska.

Synopsis for Aqualad: "Aqualad goes to school!""

This story is reprinted from Adventure Comics #278.

One day Aquaman decides that Aqualad should get an education, just like Aquaman did as a child, and so he takes his young ward to a sea-side schoolhouse. There the principal agrees to take in Aqualad, but in order to decide which grade he belongs in he must be tested. After spending a two weeks in Miss Pine's class to gauge his intelligence before taking a test to figure out what grade he'd belong in. However the day before the exam, Aqualad is hit in the head while on a mission to save some sail boaters who's ship sunk, effectively erasing his short term memory. Fearing Aqualad would forget the answers to a test that, under normal circumstances, Aqualad would pass, Aquaman decides to utilize the help of his undersea pals to help Aqualad pass the test.

As Aqualad is being given an oral test by Miss Pine, Aquaman and the sea creatures all give the boy hints through a near by window. After the test is scored, the principal tells Aqualad that he passed with top marks and that he will be placed in Miss Pine's class full time. Returning to the ocean, Aqualad comments on how strange it was for the sea animals to give him hints as to what the answers were, Aquaman -- playing coy -- agreed that, yes, it was indeed strange.
